“My starting point is the excitement that beauty sparks,” says Jessica Macias, founder of Maison Numen, an online marketplace for artisan design products.
Her journey began in 2014 when she started searching for unique artisanal objects made by small communities around the globe.

In 2016, Macias launched Maison Numen’s first collection, Latin Anime, meaning “Latin Soul.” The products came from Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, and Colombia. Now Maison Numen sells more than 1,000 products from 25 countries all over the world.

Order issue 109 today to learn about the incredible artists and communities Macias discovered along the way.
