Cartier Pasha Gets a Sophisticated Facelift
No amount of high-tech smartwatches will ever replace a true classic timepiece, and for the lady who enjoys her time-telling with a side of fashion-forward elegance, Cartier’s newest Pasha is the gift to set her heart ticking.
Based closely on the original 1985 Pasha, Cartier embeds the new model with several new features and colourful styles. Available in two sizes, 35mm and 41mm, the watch comes in steel, classic gold, or rose gold, set on an interchangeable alligator strap in a choice of refined shades (teal, aubergine, and a hot fuchsia are just some of the options), as well as a steel bracelet.
Also new are the QuickSwitch and SmartLink systems, allowing for swapping bracelets or adjusting length without special tools. The dial showcases the signature square inner ring, set with Arabic numerals, inside the round case, which comes with the option of diamonds encircling the bezel.
Attached to the case with a chain link is a screw-down crown cover, another of Pasha’s trademarks, which can be removed to reveal a small engravable area. Inside, precision is ensured with Cartier’s caliber 1847 MC movement, which uses nickel-phosphorus and paramagnetic alloys for critical components, allowing resistance to magnetic fields.
