The Chopard Ice Cube collection enters a new era by showcasing a high jewelry capsule that blends the distinctive cube shape with the brilliance of diamonds. Presented in the brand new Sculpted by Light campaign, the collection features fashion model Bella Hadid.
Each cube, shaped by a master jeweler, varies in height, creating a relief profile reminiscent of buildings rising against an urban skyline. Ingenious articulation, a technique long perfected at Chopard’s High Jewelry workshops in Switzerland, enables the cubes to weave a flexible mesh that moves with the body, allowing the jewelry to become one with its wearer.
Crafted from ethical 18-karat rose gold, the jewels reflect the light in a way that evokes a metropolis at golden hour. The varying heights of the cubes and the sparkle of the diamonds further this imagery, while the architectural aesthetic reflects Bauhaus principles of light, form, and sustainable materials.
The central motif of the Chopard Ice Cube collection, the cube—originally introduced by Caroline Scheufele in 1999 as a watch design—symbolizes geometric perfection while also serving to magnify light. Each cube is precisely faceted on all edges, creating numerous points of refraction that amplify the sparkle of the jewels.
