Christian Dior’s cherished canine companion Bobby comes to life once more after nearly 70 years in the form of a playful glass Bobby bottle for the new Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet.
Bobby first appeared in Dior’s product line in 1952 as a whimsical limited-edition perfume bottle to brighten up the holiday season. Since then, the beloved pet, known as the designer’s favourite, has lent his name to multiple pieces, from a tailored skirt suit in 1953 to this year’s sleek cross-body bag.
Now the charming pup once again makes his appearance in a numbered reedition vessel. A fresh take on the Miss Dior fragrance, sporting bright spring rose and peony notes, it comes in a white glass Bobby bottle, adorned with a sweet couture bow at the neck.
The ribbon’s mini-houndstooth pattern is an art form in itself, embroidered with an exquisite floral motif and finely executed beadwork inspired by the 1947 Miss Dior dress.
