Louis Vuitton Nautical Collection Celebrates 37th America’s Cup Barcelona

Louis Vuitton has a long history in the world of sporting events, among them, the prestigious Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup Barcelona, the world’s oldest international sporting event, which the global luxury brand has sponsored for over 40 years.

In 2024, Louis Vuitton became the title partner of the event, while also continuing to organize the Louis Vuitton Cup as part of the qualifying stage. To mark this milestone, the brand has released special nautical-inspired capsule collections for men and women, honoring the sailing race and its shared values of travel, sportsmanship, and performance.

The Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup, along with the Louis Vuitton Cup, will be held in Barcelona from August 29 to October 27, taking place in the Port Vell and Port Olímpic areas, where teams from the USA, Switzerland, Italy, France, and UK will compete against defending champion Emirates Team New Zealand.

Commemorating the event, Vuitton’s dedicated collection embodies the excitement and energy of the sailing regatta. The collections include ready-to-wear pieces, bags, and accessories that blend House emblems with bold colors and nautical themes.

Three main categories make up the collection styles: Riding the Waves embodies innovative, technical pieces for functional wear, A Day on the Deck channels the laid-back spirit of casual sports daywear, while the Elegant Summer Evening presents refined formal wear with a relaxed edge.

A recurring motif throughout the collection is the dynamic America’s Cup logo, featuring the historical “V” graphic framed by red, white, and navy color blocks.

The Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup Barcelona capsule collections are available in stores and online starting July 18, 2024.
