The House of Gucci is expanding its presence in Canada with the launch of its first Quebec boutique in Montreal. Located in the vibrant Royalmount shopping center—home to Quebec’s most luxurious flagship stores—the impressive new storefront spans 8,700 square feet of refined interiors. Customers can expect a wide selection of products, including men’s and women’s handbags, accessories, shoes, ready-to-wear pieces, and the Gucci Valigeria travel collection. The boutique will also offer exclusive items from the Pre-Fall and Fall-Winter collections, as well as exquisite leather handbags, including the House’s signature lines: Horsebit 1955 and Jackie 1961.
A brushed stainless steel and marble façade welcomes visitors into a sophisticated space that engages in a dialogue between diverse places and eras. Optical marble floors and antique details draw inspiration from historic buildings, while clean lines and polished textures bring the interior into the modern age. Built-in displays create a home-like ambiance reminiscent of walk-in closets.
Classical Italian craftsmanship is prominently featured, with furnishings and materials designed by renowned names in Italian decor: Cassina, B&B, and Minotti create memorable pieces in a rich jewel palette. The contemporary aesthetic reflects Sabato De Sarno’s vision, aligning seamlessly with Gucci’s latest collections.
The Maison’s dedication to sustainability is evident in its design choices, adhering to LEED guidelines to promote energy-efficient practices. This commitment to an eco-conscious future for luxury retail is also a core mission of Royalmount’s “Luxury Row,” where the boutique is situated, offering a luxury shopping experience within a sustainable environment.
