At a time when we’re all looking for hope, Louis Vuitton delivers colourful optimism and energizing design with “The Rainbow Project.” This collaboration features vibrant rainbow imagery in the mason’s window displays around the world.
Against the clean, white Louis Vuitton storefront on Bloor Street in Toronto, three rainbows spread across against a vivid red backdrop to celebrate the dawning of summer. The rainbow illustrates the arrival of the sun through the clouds after a storm to signify a new beginning.
But the movement is bigger than just Canada. Louis Vuitton is using its international footprint to cheer up passersby around the globe. On the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, a collection of rainbow drawings from local French children stretches across six windows. In Madrid, rainbows drawn by a Spanish child play with the heritage monogram design. Rome, Milan, and Frankfurt join in this celebration of colour as well.
Employees and their children were invited to take part in this chromatic project. The Rainbow Project speaks directly to our inner child, inviting us to enjoy simple pleasures in trying times. The colours spark imagination, foster hope, and make the world a brighter place for us all.
