Since its inception, the TUDOR Ranger has been the trusted companion of explorers venturing into the planet’s most unforgiving corners, from Arctic ice fields to sun-scorched deserts, all the while maintaining a near-stubborn devotion to precision and reliability.
The latest Ranger models continue this legacy, combining the brand’s heritage with modern innovation. Drawing on the TUDOR DNA that once accompanied members of the British North Greenland Expedition in the 1950s, and, more recently, competitors threading their way through Saudi Arabia’s Empty Quarter during the Dakar Rally, these new versions introduce a broader vocabulary of sizes and styles. Most notably, a new “Dune White” edition, with its matte dial evoking the desert sands, available in 36mm and 39mm. The matte black dial model now also comes in a 36mm option alongside the existing 39mm.
In remote, rugged environments, dependability is essential. Ranger keeps its designs purposeful and simple: a fully brushed steel case withstands impact and the elements, while painted hour markers and Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 ensure legibility in shifting light. Inside, TUDOR’s Manufacture Calibres provide COSC-certified precision, a silicon balance spring, and a seventy-hour power reserve, delivering reliability when it matters most.
This newest chapter also pays joined respect to the codes of TUDOR’s long history. The Ranger name first appeared in 1929, and by the 1960s it had settled into the recognizable profile that collectors still hold dear: bold numerals and distinctive hands coated in luminous material. Those elements return here, refined with modern performance, as the Dune White dial joins the permanent lineup. For those always in search of the next adventure, the Ranger’s updated repertoire stands ready as dependable as ever.
