New Christopher Farr Cloth Collaboration Celebrates Fogo Island
The unique Fogo Island Workshops x Christopher Farr Cloth designs pay tribute to a remarkable island
Heritage, craftsmanship, and artistic expression are the essence of Fogo Island Workshops x Christopher Farr Cloth, a new wallpaper and textile collaboration that celebrates a remarkable place and its inhabitants. Originally designed to grace the walls of an award-winning inn on Fogo Island, the project presents four distinct designs, all encapsulating the island’s rich cultural landscape.
Located off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada, Fogo Island is defined by its rugged terrain and harsh climate. The island’s inhabitants, whose historic survival depended on fishing the tumultuous North Atlantic, have honed resilience—a strength of spirit that has woven itself into the island’s cultural fabric and become essential to their livelihood.
