A feminine classic sparkles in new light in Rolex’s Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust. The ladies’ version of its emblematic Datejust was first released in 1957, with its dainty 28mm size and elegant profile perfectly suited to a woman’s wrist.
The new model is part of the Rolex varied Oyster Perpetual lineup. The case, fitted with a diamond-set bezel and winding crown, comes in 18k yellow, white, or Everose gold—Rolex’s exclusive patented pink gold alloy that owes its hue to its composition.
Each of the high-purity alloys is cast, formed, and machined in Rolex’s own foundry with meticulous care, ensuring its radiant shine. The dial, protected by scratch-proof sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens, is unique for each piece, showcasing the natural variations in Rolex’s signature mother-of-pearl: never artificially coloured, and processed with special skill and know-how to preserve its natural beauty.
The watch is equipped with calibre 2236, a self-winding mechanical movement that contributes to utmost precision and a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and the oscillator is fitted on the brand’s patented Paraflex shock absorbers, enhancing shock resistance. The watch comes on the Jubilee—a flexible five-piece link metal bracelet designed especially for the launch of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust in 1945.
