From birthstones and star signs to gems unearthed from the depths of our planet, the mythic connection between precious stones and the cosmic universe has been a source of fascination since antiquity. This fascination takes new shape with Stellar Times by Louis Vuitton, a new high-jewellery line from .
With space exploration recently breaking new unprecedented ground, uncovering the mysteries of what lies beyond our planet has been at the forefront of progress—and Louis Vuitton, in its typical quest for adventure, has forged a natural alliance with this pioneering path.
Stellar Times, a high-jewellery collection designed by Artistic Director of Jewellery Francesca Amfitheatrof, brings forth a brilliant union of jewels and the cosmos, a vision of the universe in daring designs that rival the courageous spirit of space travel.

Revolving around seven interstellar themes, the 90-piece collection punctuated with vividly coloured jewels takes wearers on a “contemporary jewellery odyssey” to the edges of far-off galaxies, going boldly where no jewel has gone before.
Diamonds, opals, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, spinels, and tourmalines form constellations and interstellar motifs on the pieces in Stellar Times by Louis Vuitton, each inspired by a cosmic element.
A Mozambique ruby of over 8 carats stars in the Astre Rouge necklace, a tribute to Mars, within a fan of cascading diamonds, while the sunny Soleils necklace reflects the shining heart of the solar system itself with yellow sapphires, garnets, and diamonds.
“This theme is inspiring because of the artistic value in stones embodying planets,” says Amfitheatrof, “but I am also fascinated by the immensity of the cosmos, by journeying through space, and by this feeling of wonder at all the beauty of the universe.”
