The brand has always had a soft spot for fairies, and at the heart of the Lady Féerie dial is a three-dimensional fairy perching on a mother-of-pearl cloud, marking the passing hours with her wand. The fairy’s dress glitters with diamonds, pink sapphires, and miniature painting on gold. Meanwhile, her diamond-framed wings are coated with a powdery gradient in a unique shade of pink—made by combining translucent pink plique-à-jour with opaque pink enamel—designed by the workshops of Van Cleef & Arpels to harmonize with the dial

Pink in all shades is the leading palette for the piece, evoking the soft glow of dusk. The dial showcases the mastery of the Van Cleef & Arpels artisans with a painted evening sky illuminated in a complex gradient ranging from pearl white to deep plum and bold fuchsia, which required more than ten attempts to achieve. An oscillating weight engraved with a night sky displays a full moon scattered with stars, while a mother-of-pearl window frames a setting sun.
