Bvlgari Opens New Flagship Boutique on Toronto’s Bloor Street West

Inspired by the beauty and heritage of Rome, luxury brand Bvlgari has opened a new 3,000-square-foot flagship boutique in Toronto, marking its second standalone location in Canada. Situated in the Colonnade building at 131 Bloor Street West on Mink Mile, the city’s luxury shopping district, the store captures the Italian spirit through its elegant design and exclusive materials.

The journey begins with the store’s facade, which takes inspiration from Bvlgari’s Tubogas and the craftsmanship techniques involved in their creation. From the facade, visitors step into a foyer outfitted in white Travertino Navona marble, a stone emblematic of classical Roman architecture that is also reminiscent of Bvlgari’s historic flagship store on the Via dei Condotti in Rome.

Inside the boutique, guests are greeted by a stunning Murano glass chandelier, shaped in the form of Serpenti by Venini in a fusion of Bvlgari’s contemporary design and Greco-Roman legacy. The floor features yet another of the brand’s icons: the Condotti eight-point star in bois Jourdain, inlaid in the crema marfil flooring, a symbolic mainstay of every Bvlgari boutique, dating back to the first shop opened by Sotirio Bulgari in Rome in 1884.

Further into the boutique, several connected rooms showcase Bvlgari’s creations, with jewelry collections, leather goods, a watch area, and a private lounge, all connected by a central gallery. Drawing on the brand’s close connection with the arts, the boutique also displays bold, recognizable prints by pop artist Andy Warhol, a longtime admirer of Bvlgari, along with works by Montreal-born artist Nicolas Ruel, known for his double exposure photographs of cities and historical sites.

The new Bvlgari flagship store promises an exclusive experience for those who appreciate the artistry and elegance synonymous with the brand. It’s the only place in Canada to carry Bvlgari’s permanent High Jewelry collection, such as the Diva’s Dream Peacock watch collection. It’s also the exclusive Canadian boutique to carry the brand’s esteemed fragrances Le Gemme and the new Bvlgari Allegra.
