Chopard has been receiving accolades for its expertise in fine watchmaking and jewellery since its establishment in 1860. Today, the success of the brand’s unique designs and impeccable craftsmanship lies in the hands of its artisans, highly skilled craftspeople who work on every step of the process under the guidance of co-presidents Caroline and Karl-Friedrich Scheufele.
A visit to the Chopard workshops in Switzerland reveals the meticulous stages involved in crafting its distinctive pieces. Beginning with a sketch, the process consists of 3D construction, sculpture, crafting, and gem setting. Having nurtured her passion for gems since childhood, Caroline Scheufele personally selects the precious stones to be used in each piece.
